The Lake Gaston Association will host a Meet the Candidate Forum for upcoming elections in Brunswick County, on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., at the Gasburg Volunteer Fire Department, 1705 Baird Rd, Gasburg, VA 23857.\

All voters in Brunswick County are invited and encouraged to attend. This will be an excellent opportunity for citizens to gain firsthand knowledge of who the candidates are and what they stand for before going to the polls in November. \

Candidates have been invited to attend for the following offices: The invitees to the forum include candidates for Senate of Virginia for Districts 015 & 018; House of Delegates for District 075; School Board; Sheriff; and Board of Supervisors.

Candidates will be allowed two minutes to introduce themselves and their platform. The moderator will ask questions and candidates will be allowed two minutes to respond.  Questions will be submitted by members of the audience and screened for duplicates before the moderator asks candidates for a response.
